My Story
Being mixed race with a West African and white European background, I understand the challenges and opportunities that African students face when aspiring to study in the UK.
I am passionate about education, and I am motivated by my own background where academic success is seen as a primary avenue for personal advancement and success.
During my career in the city of London, I have held diverse roles in the finance sector, including Acquisition Analyst, Finance Business Partner and Asset Manager. My organisational ability, attention to detail, and ability to meeting deadlines were vital skills for my career and continue to be relevant in education consultancy as accurate and comprehensive materials, as well as timely submission, greatly influence the chances of securing admission to the desired university.
Motivated by the need to prioritise quality family time, I then made a career shift towards teaching mathematics in secondary schools. This transition brought me great fulfilment as I contributed to students’ lives, providing them with guidance and support, and highlighting the vast career prospects that studying mathematics could offer.
My unique background, combined with my knowledge of the education and corporate worlds, inspired me to create African students in UK, an education consultancy, with education as its principal focus. I offer tailored guidance and support to students to maximize their chances of admission.
I am committed to guiding students globally, including those from every African nation and beyond, cherishing diversity. Equality and inclusiveness form the core of my work, from my teaching days to my current consultancy role. Every student, irrespective of their origin, is met with equal respect and recognized for their unique talents, ensuring personalized and inclusive support for all.
